From Strategy to Success: Powering the Global rollout of Shell’s eCommerce platform

THE CHALLENGE

Shell were relaunching a new and improved global eCommerce platform ‘MarketHub’. And they needed a plan from beginning to end – a brand that could unify internal teams and excite customers, training internally and externally and a phased global rollout. The challenge was to simplify complex product information into messaging that resonated across regions and roles, while keeping teams engaged and customers informed.

We partnered closely with the communications and product teams to bring the brand to life. Together, we built a brand and messaging platform, launched it internally with energy and clarity, and supported global teams and customers through every stage of the journey.​

Together we bought the new platform to multiple countries and 6 business areas over 3 years, making sure that every new launch felt as fresh as the first. ​

We also filmed a member of the Senior Team with a drone in the dessert... giving the wow moment the internal launch needed.

  • Translated Shell’s research and strategy into a clear, engaging brand identity with guidelines, message houses and an asset toolkit.

  • Ran a 6-month engagement campaign across global teams, culminating in an hour-long virtual event with live feeds from London and Malaysia.

  • Delivered newsletters, videos, and events to keep the brand alive internally.

  • Created modular training for the customer service team, covering platform launch, features, updates, and customer support tools.

  • Developed fun, clear communications to drive migration, plus self-serve help and support tools and sales kits to drive adoption.
